Return Policy
Returns are accepted when purchased directly through our website and requested within 7 days of your signature-required delivery and shipped back to us within 7 days of our confirmation of your return.
Every Object is curated, inspected, and authenticated with meticulous care before it leaves our collection. We want every piece to feel perfect in your hands, and every collector to feel fully supported.
If a return is necessary, a full refund will be issued minus a $40 handling and reauthentication contribution that ensured each piece is carefully prepared and preserved for its next chapter. This amount is returned to you as store credit, keeping your journey as a collector seamless and celebrated.
Once your Object has arrived safely, our team will meticulously inspect and authenticate it before processing your refund.
Eligibility
To ensure your Object is cared for during its return journey, please return it in its original condition in which you received it, in the box provided, with tags attached, with any original dust bags or items if applicable (original authentication cards, original tags, etc), and the provided authentication papers from us. This helps ensure it’s safe and seamless arrival back to us.
Domestic return shipping is covered by us and labels will be provided via email. All international return shipping will need to be covered by the customer at this time. If you would like us to provide you a return label for your international return, we are more than happy to help. The cost for the label will be deducted from your return.
How It Works
1. Contact us at concierge@theobjectsofaffection.com within 7 days from delivery to initiate your return. Please allow 1-3 business days for a response from our concierge team.
2. Include your order number, the email or phone number associated with your order, and your address. If you’d like, tell us what didn’t connect — it helps us curate better for you.
3. A member of our concierge team will be in touch to help process your return and provide a label to ship your Object back to us safely.
4. Return your Object in its original condition with all requirements listed above within 7 days of being provided the return label.
Exchanges
Because every Object is one-of-one, we are unable to offer exchanges.
Condition Transparency
Vintage and second hand pieces carry history.
We photograph and describe every Object with honesty and precision so you know exactly what to expect.

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are issued to your original form of payment within 5–15 business days.
Final Sale Items
Certain Objects, such as deeply discounted pieces or items marked “Final Sale,” are not eligible for return. This will always be stated clearly on the product page.
